At Apple, we're seeking a seasoned Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join our Hardware Methodologies, Tool, & Solutions (HMTS) Platform team. This role combines high-performance computing expertise with global systems integration, managing infrastructure across multiple continents. You'll be responsible for architecting, deploying, and managing high-performance compute and enterprise infrastructure that supports thousands of nodes and mission-critical services.
As a key team member, you'll bridge conventional IT infrastructure development and operations, working with cutting-edge technologies including Slurm-based HPC clusters, Active Directory integrations, and global data replication systems. Your work will directly impact Apple's hardware engineering capabilities, supporting our commitment to innovation.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience in large-scale datacenter operations, deep expertise in Windows Server administration, RHEL/CentOS environments, and infrastructure automation. You'll work with technologies like InfiniBand fabrics, enterprise virtualization platforms, and modern observability tools while collaborating with global teams to evolve our infrastructure towards a zero-touch, self-healing architecture.
