Module Design Manager

Apple is seeking a Module Design Manager to supervise a team of engineers and execute on projects related to camera module design. The role involves overseeing the design and development of camera modules for consumer electronic devices, including future camera technologies. Key responsibilities include:

• Establishing project objectives, tasks, and duties for camera module design
• Defining and refining engineering requirements for high-precision, high-volume modules
• Leading camera testing in labs and manufacturing sites
• Conducting failure/defect analysis of optical, mechanical, material, and electrical camera failures
• Leading image quality evaluations and statistical data analysis
• Automating lab validation activities for large-scale data collection

The ideal candidate will have expertise in camera design, mechanical and electrical CAD tools, and experience with various characterization tools like X-ray, SEM, FTIR, CT, FIB, and EDX. Proficiency in data analysis using JMP, Matlab, and Python is required.

This role offers a competitive base pay range of $223,329 - $329,600/yr, along with additional benefits such as stock options, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and educational reimbursement opportunities.
