Description For SWE Factory - Engineering Program Manager

Apple is seeking an Engineering Program Manager for the SWE Factory EPM team. This role involves working with Hardware, Software, and Operations teams to manage the delivery of software to factory lines for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Vision Pro product lines. The ideal candidate will have strong OS fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving software deliverables to factories during various hardware builds, from development to mass production
  • Leading technical discussions with engineering teams to identify solutions for software that impact hardware
  • Providing timely communications to factories about future release schedules and coordinating control runs
  • Identifying and highlighting risks, developing mitigations, and driving alignment across Software and Hardware organizations

Requirements For SWE Factory - Engineering Program Manager

Linux
  • 3-5+ years experience project managing complex, multi-functional projects
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to drive multiple programs, prioritize and solve complex problems
  • Ability to quickly establish and manage cross-functional relationships
  • Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking
  • Knowledge of Software and Hardware product lifecycle
  • BS/MS EE/CS/CE or relevant experience
