Responsibilities For Test Engineering Manager, Data Center
- Manage operations of Apple Data Center Test and Engineering site
- Provide stable and cost-effective analysis and training environment
- Maintain high operational rigor throughout all teams
- Lead high priority problems and handle critical issues
- Maintain communication with executive management
- Collaborate with other DC sites and Apple Business units
- Manage annual expense budgets exceeding $30+ million
- Oversee capital expenditure, operational expense, and site headcount planning
Requirements For Test Engineering Manager, Data Center
- Prior management experience in mission critical operations environment
- Data Center leadership experience or managerial role
- Ability to prepare and lead annual expense budgets
- Experience managing employees and contingent workforce
- Ability to work extended hours in data center environment (60-110°F)
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in Mac OS applications
- Experience in Problem Management, Configuration Management, and Root Cause Analysis
