Founding Software Engineer

Aravolta is revolutionizing data center infrastructure management (DCIM) with next-generation software solutions. As a Founding Software Engineer, you'll be joining a cutting-edge team focused on building sophisticated monitoring and control systems for data centers.

The role combines both utility-side and web application development, requiring expertise in modern full-stack technologies. You'll be working with a comprehensive tech stack including Node.js, InfluxDB, and PostgreSQL for the utility agent, while leveraging TypeScript, React, and Next.js for the web application.

Key responsibilities include designing scalable database schemas, optimizing application performance across the stack, and implementing robust APIs. You'll also collaborate on utility-side tooling that interfaces with various protocols like SNMP, IPMI, and RedFish.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience and will play a crucial role in shaping the technical foundation of the product. This is an exceptional opportunity to join an early-stage YC-backed startup (X25 batch) in San Francisco, working directly with experienced founders who have relevant industry background, including data center deployments for OpenAI at Microsoft.

The position offers competitive compensation ($160K - $220K) with meaningful equity (1.00%) and visa sponsorship, reflecting the strategic importance of this role.
