ASUS Robotics & AI Center is seeking a Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Taipei. Responsibilities For Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer
- Lead data infrastructure design and implementation for large systems
- Explore and evaluate frameworks for data science and big data processing
- Provide tools for data access control, versioning, and migration strategies
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-commented source code
- Address problems with research-thinking mindset
- Lead cross-functional teams through full software lifecycle
- Collaborate on software architecture design decisions
Requirements For Senior Data Infrastructure Engineer
- Master's degree or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, applied mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years of industry work experience
- Expertise in data engineering and operations, including SQL and noSQL databases
- Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, data pipelines and batch/stream processing
- Strong understanding of fundamentals and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of software development best practices
- Expertise in C, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
