Baker Hughes is seeking an Electrical Component Engineer to join their team in Fot, Hungary. This role combines hardware and software design expertise for control systems in Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Compressors, and process Plant applications in the Oil & Gas industry. The position requires a strong background in control system development, with responsibilities spanning from detailed hardware design to project documentation and team collaboration.

Responsibilities For Engineer - Electrical Component

  • Develop Control Panels hardware detailed design according to Customer technical specifications
  • Issue project technical documentation (3D UCS Construction Dwg, Wiring Diagram)
  • Provide technical support to supply chain on ordering of BOMs and assembly
  • Attend technical meetings with Project Team, Customers and Supplier
  • Implement activities from conceptual design to product validation
  • Provide timely communications on significant issues
  • Cooperate with multinational BH teams
  • Support employees during assembling and testing phases

Requirements For Engineer - Electrical Component

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecomm or Computer Science Engineering
  • 2+ years experience in control system Hardware/software design in Oil & Gas or Industrial Automation
  • Experience with ePlan and ProPanel design
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office tools, Control SW development tools and Enterprise Systems)
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural team
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian
  • EU Work Permit
  • Willingness to travel when required
