The role is critical in helping scientists efficiently input data into Benchling's platform, working on core features like Excel-like tables, auditing systems, and custom forms that over 90% of customers use. The position offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and biotechnology, helping to accelerate life sciences research.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll be responsible for building end-to-end solutions, from backend APIs to rich frontend components. The role requires collaboration with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to create intuitive data input solutions for scientists. You'll work on critical projects that impact how scientific data is captured and managed within Benchling's platform.

The company offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $141,104 to $190,906, along with comprehensive benefits. The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the San Francisco office. Benchling's mission is to unlock the power of biotechnology, and they're looking for engineers who are excited about making an impact in the life sciences field.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of software engineering experience, strong full-stack development skills, and experience with React or similar frameworks. While prior life science knowledge isn't required, a desire to learn about the field is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to combine technical expertise with meaningful impact in the biotechnology sector.
