Description For Customer Engineering - Mobile/Android

Biofourmis is seeking a Customer Engineering - Mobile/Android professional to join their team in Boston, MA. This role is part of the Customer Support infrastructure team, focused on improving the entire Customer Support system to help the Customer Care team deliver exceptional experiences while continuously enhancing the Customer Journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and improving mobile experiences for Biofourmis mobile apps
  • Partnering with the product management team to define and execute the feature roadmap
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams on planning and execution
  • Proactively managing stakeholder communication related to deliverables, risks, changes, and reliance
  • Providing technology leadership and fostering engineering excellence

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Java or Kotlin-based Android native development (Kotlin is highly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Android Architecture and Indexing
  • Experience developing showcase-worthy applications
  • Up-to-date knowledge of IDEs, SDK, Android Developer Tools, Android architecture components, and Android application components
  • Proficiency in Android UI design and Android Architectural Components
  • Familiarity with design patterns like MMVM, Retrofit, Gson/Moshi, image loading frameworks, dependency injection frameworks, and Kotlin coroutines
  • Expertise in Git-based repository management
  • Experience with building automated test cases (advantage)
