Bluejay is revolutionizing the quality assurance landscape for conversational AI, with a particular focus on voice technology. As a YC-backed startup that has rapidly grown to over $100K in ARR within a month of Y Combinator, we're now working with multiple Fortune 500 companies.
Our mission is to engineer trust into every AI interaction, whether it's a voice agent handling calls or a multi-modal system processing sensitive data. We believe that trust isn't just a feature—it's the foundation of successful AI systems. We're establishing the gold standard for AI agent testing through simulation, safety-first approaches, and accountability.
As a Founding AI Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of building systems that simulate, analyze, and evaluate conversational AI agents. You'll architect scalable infrastructure using AWS (Lambda, EC2, WebSockets, WebRTC) to handle thousands of real-time conversations. Your work will directly impact how AI agents are tested and validated for safety, reliability, and alignment with human intent.
Working closely with founders who bring experience from Microsoft and AWS, you'll have the opportunity to shape both the technical architecture and company culture. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about AI safety and reliability, comfortable with end-to-end system ownership, and excited about tackling ambiguous technical challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.
Join us in building the future of trustworthy AI, where we're not just checking boxes for security and compliance, but establishing the fundamental pillars of responsible AI development. Your work will help ensure AI agents are thoroughly tested in simulated environments before reaching the real world, potentially preventing harmful failure modes and building trust in AI systems.
