Description For Technology Resiliency Engineer Leader

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Technology Resiliency Engineer Leader to join their team in Toronto. This role sits at the intersection of development and operations, focusing on system reliability, performance, and automation. Responsibilities For Technology Resiliency Engineer Leader

  • Deploy, configure and monitor code, availability, latency, change management, emergency response and production service management capacity
  • Help development and operations teams establish service level metrics, objectives and error budgets
  • Perform automation to increase efficiency and reduce risks
  • Provide consulting support on system design, platform management and capacity planning
  • Debug production issues across services and technology stack levels
  • Improve service status visibility through metrics, logs and traces
  • Calculate SLA breach costs and help management calculate system reliability impact
  • Focus primarily on a business area or operating group within BMO
