Boeing's Argon ST division is seeking an Entry-Level Software Engineer to join their Signals Intelligence team in Fairfax, Virginia. This role focuses on developing cutting-edge software solutions for SIGINT products serving the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. The position involves working with RF signals, signal processing algorithms, and systems deployed across various military platforms including aircraft, ships, and submarines.

Responsibilities For Entry-Level Software Engineer, Signals Intelligence

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications for SIGINT products using React, TypeScript and/or Java
  • Contribute to back-end services developed in Java
  • Document and maintain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs
  • Solve complex problems with innovative solutions
  • Participate in Agile development processes
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software issues

Requirements For Entry-Level Software Engineer, Signals Intelligence

Java

  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, or C++
  • Experience in data structures, algorithms, concurrency and core software engineering principles
  • Experience in git version control
  • Experience with technical troubleshooting, debugging and optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or related field (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15
