Boeing Poland sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior AvionX Software Engineer to join their team in Gdansk, Poland. This role is part of Boeing AvionX, which develops cutting-edge avionics and electronics systems for aircraft navigation, flight controls, and core avionics functions. As a Senior AvionX Software Engineer, you'll be part of a high-performing engineering team supporting multiple product lines across Boeing AvionX. The role involves utilizing modern programming techniques and agile methodologies to develop software for Boeing systems, performing architecture design, requirements review, and testing. You'll be working with embedded Linux systems and low-level programming, contributing to critical aviation technology development.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in telecom or network projects, with strong C/C++ programming skills. Knowledge of Linux embedded systems, kernel programming, and networking stack is highly valued. Responsibilities For Senior AvionX Software Engineer

  • Utilize modern programming techniques and agile methodologies to build software for Boeing systems
  • Perform engineering activities including architecture design, requirements review, software development, integration and testing
  • Contribute to project execution plan and operational goals
  • Project estimation and planning
  • Improve software engineering process, quality, safety and reliability

Requirements For Senior AvionX Software Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 3+ years of professional experience in telecom or network projects
  • Experience in C/C++ programming language
  • English proficiency
  • Experience with Linux embedded systems (preferred)
  • Experience in low level Linux programming (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Linux networking stack, FreeRadius, Wireshark, OpenSSL, PKI (preferred)
