Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing Company subsidiary with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a Software Engineer in Maryland Heights, MO. This role is part of their 500+ global workforce supporting defense, commercial, and government customers across 50 US locations and nine countries.

The position focuses on supporting the Mobility Air Force (MAF) Global Mobility Special Mission (GM SM) Mission Planning Systems for the US Air Force. You'll be working on mission-critical software that shapes how the DoD conducts mission planning for the next 30 years, supporting platforms like KC-135, HC-130J, C-17, and C-130H.

The role involves full-stack development using C#/.NET and TypeScript/ReactJS, with a focus on transitioning software solutions into an Open Mission System Architecture leveraging Kubernetes/containerization. You'll be working in an Agile environment, participating in the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing software, working with Product Owners, maintaining system architecture, and optimizing software performance. The position requires 3+ years of experience with both C#/.NET and TypeScript/ReactJS, along with version control knowledge.

The compensation package ranges from $95,000 to $114,000, complemented by comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Responsibilities For Software Engineer

  • Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle
  • Work with Product Owner to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial design
  • Develops, maintains, enhances and optimizes software products for systems integrations
  • Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs
  • Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure reliability and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and resolves technical issues
  • Develops and improves software processes, tools and key performance metrics

Requirements For Software Engineer

TypeScript

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience with C#/.NET
  • Experience with version control tools such as git, Bitbucket
  • 3+ years of experience with Typescript, ReactJS/Redux
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance
