Responsibilities For Calibration Engineer

  • Develop and fine-tune engine control parameters
  • Optimize calibration maps and lookup tables
  • Write and execute test programs
  • Validate calibration strategies
  • Analyze test data using tools like MATLAB, INCA, or ETAS
  • Troubleshoot engine performance issues
  • Support certification testing and documentation
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation
  • Present findings and recommendations to engineering teams

Requirements For Calibration Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical experience
  • Knowledge of motors & drives, control system fundamentals, and wiring systems
  • Familiarity with ECU software and CAN communication protocols
  • Experience with calibration tools (e.g., ETAS INCA, ATI Vision)
  • Strong understanding of measurement principles
  • Knowledge of emissions regulations and testing procedures
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
