Senior AEM Back End Developer (Contract)

Our industry-recognized Adobe engineering team is seeking a proactive, collaborative Senior AEM Back-End Developer to lead custom platform development for enterprise-level customers. In this role, you'll solve complex challenges in a distributed environment, working on mission-critical systems with high-availability and performance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development for mission-critical systems
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Participate in client meetings professionally
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Translate business needs into technical requirements
• Provide constructive feedback in code reviews
• Prepare and produce software component releases
• Support continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree, bootcamp graduate, or equivalent self-education
• 5+ years of professional AEM development experience
• Experience with AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5
• Proficiency in AEM, Java, and Sling
• Strong understanding of systems design, caching, and persistence
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with modern programming architecture
• Experience with Agile development (preferably SCRUM) and Unit Testing
