Brightline is seeking a Senior Full Stack Ruby on Rails Software Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate on projects end-to-end, from scoping features to shipping
- Write code across the entire stack (Ruby + Rails backend, Turbo frontend)
- Have a mix of independent work and pair programming
- Curate and improve the codebase through architecture discussions, testing, and code review
- Create API integrations with major health insurance companies
- Work on projects like overhauling insurance benefit comparison architecture and improving developer tooling

- Healthcare-related software, especially insurance billing, employer integrations, or clinical workflows
- API development and third-party integrations
- Infrastructure, particularly AWS
- Data Engineering tools like DBT and Snowflake
