This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $192,000 plus comprehensive benefits including equity and annual bonus potential.
The position involves working on cutting-edge SerDes connectivity ASICs for highly integrated data center products. The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of experience in physical design, with a Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. You'll be responsible for implementing power-grid and high-speed clock constraints, debugging LVS/DRC issues, and managing design tape-out to foundries.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who has deep knowledge of industry standards in Physical Design, Physical aware synthesis, Floorplanning, CTS, and place and route. The role requires expertise with tools like Virtuoso, Caliber & Redhawk, and strong scripting abilities in Python, Perl, tcl, and shell.

Responsibilities For Physical Design Engineer
- Contributing to SerDes connectivity ASICs for highly integrated data center products
- Implementing Power-grid and high speed clock constraints
- Debug LVS/DRC issues at the chip and block level
- Work with mixed signal environments
- Manage design tape-out to foundries
Requirements For Physical Design Engineer
- MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 6+ years of experience in Physical design
- Deep knowledge about industry standards in Physical Design, Physical aware synthesis, Floorplanning, CTS and place and route
- Experience in developing and implementing Power-grid and high speed clock constraints and specification
- Good understanding of physical design verification methodology to debug LVS/DRC issues
- Experience with CDC, static timing analysis methodologies and relevant tools
- Understanding and experience of mixed signal environments
- Familiarity with Virtuoso, Caliber & Redhawk tools
- Good understanding of design tape-out to foundries
- Scripting experience with Perl, Python, tcl, shell
