Responsibilities For WLAN Field Applications Engineer (FAE) - Denver area

  • Own customer Engineering relationships
  • Be onsite at customers several times per week
  • Drive best-in-class technical support at assigned customers
  • Assist customers in debugging test issues and collect test logs for analysis
  • Load SW images onto Broadcom reference HW to replicate customer issues
  • Work closely with Broadcom and customer Engineering during product lifecycle
  • Help drive completion of customer RFPs and RFQs
  • Conduct product presentations and demos to customers
  • Assist with product benchmarking and testing

Requirements For WLAN Field Applications Engineer (FAE) - Denver area

Linux
  • BSEE or equivalent technical degree
  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience
  • Deep understanding of WiFi technologies and industry standards
  • Strong hands-on experience with software and hardware aspects of WLAN systems
  • Experience using Linux SW, debug modules (console) and use of iperf
  • Experience with WiFi-related lab test equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
