Staff Software Engineer, iOS

As a Staff iOS Engineer, you'll lead critical initiatives for their mobile apps used by millions globally. The role involves shaping the design and development of mission-critical projects in their Swift-based native iOS app, which is their highest conversion platform for new users.

You'll be responsible for ensuring new users experience the magic of instant connection with native English speakers, while also building iOS infrastructure to enable rapid feature development. The position requires expertise in iOS development, Swift programming, and modern best practices, with a focus on delivering world-class consumer experiences.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in iOS development, deep understanding of iOS design patterns, proficiency in Swift and UIKit, and knowledge of reactive programming. You'll work in a hybrid environment (3 days office, 2 days remote) with a talented team focused on making high-quality English education accessible to all.
