We're seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join our mission-driven team, working on maintaining and enhancing our data infrastructure that directly impacts patient outcomes.

The role involves working with ETL processes, data pipelines, and reporting systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance and data security. You'll be part of a team that has expanded to over 200 clinical locations across the country, working with cutting-edge technology in the healthcare space.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for building and optimizing data infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring data integrity across all environments. Responsibilities For Data Engineer

  • Maintain, debug, and enhance existing ETL processes, data models, and reporting codebases
  • Build and optimize data pipelines, integrations, and reports
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams
  • Ensure data integrity and reliability across multiple environments
  • Write efficient SQL queries and manage relational databases
  • Develop and maintain documentation
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests
  • Monitor data jobs and troubleshoot errors
  • Implement best practices for data governance, privacy, and security
  • Partner with stakeholders to automate routine reporting tasks

Requirements For Data Engineer

Python
PostgreSQL
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in data engineering or software engineering
  • Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and experience with data modeling
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau)
  • Experience with Python or similar scripting languages
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Experience with modern data stack tools (preferred)
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (preferred)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS (preferred)
