Responsibilities For Apigee API Software Developer

  • Work with business clients, project stakeholders, IT personnel and development staff in design, development and delivery of API proxies
  • Perform complex analysis of system capabilities
  • Plan and execute system implementations
  • Conduct major version software upgrades and fix pack updates
  • Maintain and enhance development best practices and standards
  • Monitor API performance, usage, and security
  • Test APIs to ensure business requirements are met
  • Implement CICD pipelines for Apigee proxies
  • Lead sessions with consumers of services to define requirements
  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems

Requirements For Apigee API Software Developer

Java
Python
  • 4-8 years of experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in implementing API proxies through gateways
  • Knowledge and experience in developing Rest APIs/Restful Web services
  • Knowledge and experience in API Connect and/or APIGEE
  • Knowledge and experience in OAuth for Authentication
  • Knowledge and experience in JWT token implementation
  • Experience with Code, Configuration and Build management tools (GIT, Concourse, Ansible, Jenkins, Harness)
  • Expertise with Google Cloud Platform and other Cloud platforms like AWS
