Description For CX Customer Delivery Engineering Technical Leader

Cisco is seeking a Consulting Engineer for their Customer Experience engagements. The role involves transforming Cisco's customer business agenda by enabling solution architecture with proven business outcomes. As a CX Customer Delivery Engineering Technical Leader, you will:

  • Provide consulting services including Strategy and Architecture, Design, Implementation and Optimization, Design Assessment, Design/Configuration Reviews, and Cisco Solution Architecture implementations.
  • Serve as an Architecture Trusted Advisor for customers and contribute to crafting a cross-architecture vision and roadmap.
  • Design and apply technical solutions and architectures working with generalist engineers and architects.
  • Influence roadmap discussions with business entities and Product Management teams based on observed customer requirements.
  • Translate customer opportunities/challenges into known technical solutions that cross architectures and deliver business outcomes.
  • Identify new service opportunities to support customer transformation.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT consulting and/or pre-sales engineering.
  • Cross-architecture design, implementation & operating experience across multi-domains (Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Cloud, Security) in a large enterprise environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to relate to customer representatives at various levels.
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience in writing high-level test and implementation plans.
  • BS/BA/MS in Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Industry Leading Certifications / Skills (e.g., CCIE, CCDE, DevNet, AWS, Python, TOGAF, ITIL).
  • Strong hands-on technical experience in technologies like ACI, NDFC/EVPN, Ethernet Switching, Data Center infrastructure deployments, Network Management, and Element Management systems.
  • Experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco Routing & Switching and Data Center solutions.
