Security Engineer

Cisco is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Supply Chain organization in Penang, Malaysia. This role combines software engineering with security expertise, focusing on protecting and enhancing Cisco's CI/CD pipeline and cloud infrastructure. As a security SME, you'll work within an Agile scrum team to establish security processes, develop microservices, and implement security best practices across application, operating systems, network, and compute layers.

The position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in cloud security and DevSecOps, while being part of TQSG - a central software development organization within Cisco's supply chain that supports building and testing of Cisco products globally. You'll collaborate with architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to support the growth of Cisco's private Cloud Services.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of experience in Java, JavaScript, and Python, along with deep knowledge of security tools, web application vulnerabilities, and cloud technologies. You'll play a crucial role in elevating security practices, mentoring junior engineers, and implementing security solutions across Cisco's technology stack.
