Description For AI/ML Research Engineer

We're seeking an AI/ML Research Engineer to join our Foundational Models AI team in Seattle, where you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of artificial intelligence and machine learning in robotics.

The role focuses on advancing bimanual manipulation and developing multimodal models for enhanced robotic intelligence. You'll be part of a small, dynamic team of AI researchers, working directly on cutting-edge technologies that will define the next generation of autonomous robotic systems. Your responsibilities will include training and evaluating models, developing sophisticated data pipelines, and implementing the latest research advances in robotics ML.

This position is perfect for recent graduates with a Master's degree in ML, AI, Computer Science, or related fields who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible in robotics. You'll need strong experience with deep learning frameworks and ML software engineering best practices. The role offers a competitive salary range of $170,000 - $180,000, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements For AI/ML Research Engineer

Python
  • Master's degree in Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related technical field
  • Understanding of multimodal models, modern ML architectures
  • Experience training models with deep learning frameworks
  • Practical experience with ML software engineering best practices
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must have and maintain US work authorization
  • Must be willing and able to start work in Summer 2025
  • Must graduate prior to August 2025
