Senior Platform Engineer

Collibra is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Platform Infrastructure Engineering team, reporting to the Senior Platform Infrastructure Engineering Manager. This role is critical in evolving Collibra's multi-cloud infrastructure environment, focusing on Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Helm), and GitOps practices. The position requires 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or SRE roles, with strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes cluster management.

The role involves developing controllers and automations, contributing to platform architecture, and maintaining operational excellence through on-call rotations and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and proficiency in Golang or Python for automation. Additional preferred skills include CKA/CKAD certifications, experience with Istio, ArgoCD, and deep knowledge of networks, Linux, and Kubernetes.

This is a remote position based on the East Coast USA, offering a competitive salary range of $152,000 - $190,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits including equity ownership, bonus potential, and a Flex Fund monthly stipend. The role requires US citizenship and residence on US soil due to government support requirements.

Success in this role will be measured through quick adaptation to the technical environment, independent execution of tasks, and participation in key automation initiatives.
