Senior Embedded Software Engineer (ONSITE)

Collins Aerospace, a part of RTX, is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Richardson, TX. This role focuses on developing mission-critical systems within a Special Access Program (SAP) for Strategic Nuclear Deterrence.

The position requires hands-on software development for aerospace and defense systems, working with cutting-edge technology while ensuring the highest standards of security and reliability. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and testing.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing software solutions, creating UML design diagrams, working in an integrated test environment, and mentoring junior engineers. The role offers exposure to advanced communication technologies and nuclear command-and-control systems.

The ideal candidate should have a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience (or advanced degree with 3+ years), along with experience in Agile development methods and Model-Based Systems Engineering. An active SECRET security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
