Software Engineer - Product

Commenda is revolutionizing compliance automation for multinational corporations, positioning itself to compete with the Big Four accounting firms. As a Software Engineer - Product, you'll join a dynamic team of 7 software engineers working on a comprehensive suite of compliance and tax management solutions. The role encompasses full-stack development, with a particular emphasis on frontend work.

Our product suite includes sophisticated tools for Entity Management, Tax & Accounting, Transaction tax, Transfer pricing, Incorporation & Global Expansion, and an AI-powered Research Console. These tools help multinational companies manage their complex compliance requirements efficiently and accurately.

The position offers an opportunity to work directly with designers, operations, and growth teams to identify product gaps and implement high-quality solutions. You'll be essential to the team from day one, contributing to a product that's challenging the $200B/year industry dominated by traditional accounting firms.

While this is a full-stack role, we particularly welcome candidates with strong frontend or web backend experience. You'll be working in-person at our Bengaluru office, collaborating closely with a high-commitment team that values reliability and business impact. The ideal candidate will have experience with React, TypeScript, and API design, though these are not strict requirements.
