Responsibilities For Senior Veritas Enterprise Vault Engineer

  • Participate in technical meetings to review and support program objectives
  • Perform configurations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Record configurations change requests through change control board
  • Process storage requests, migrations and decommission tasks
  • Monitor failed system components and coordinate support
  • Respond to monitoring alerts with corrective actions
  • Complete scheduled maintenance according to policies
  • Manage technology in remote environments
  • Process tickets according to service level agreements
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 escalation for outages
  • Create PowerShell and VBS scripts to automate routine tasks
  • Facilitate system migration to cloud infrastructure
  • Perform daily system monitoring
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades
  • Configure new services as necessary
