This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining cutting-edge trading platform systems focused on user management, fund management, risk management, and security compliance.
The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global team across APAC, EMEA, and North America, developing sophisticated Python-based backend services and analytics pipelines. You'll be working with modern technologies including PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kafka, and Redis, while managing workflows through Airflow.
The ideal candidate should have strong Python proficiency, expertise in SQL, and experience with data visualization tools like pandas, matplotlib, and plotly. Previous experience in Investment Banking, Hedge Funds, or Exchanges would be highly valuable, particularly in developing trading applications for traditional or crypto markets.

Responsibilities For Senior Python Developer - Exchange Middle and Back office
- Develop and maintain Python-based backend services to serve real-time and batch risk data at scale
- Build analytics pipelines / dashboards / report using pandas, matplotlib, and plotly for internal stakeholders
- Integrate with data systems such as PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kafka, Redis, and manage workflows via Airflow
- Work closely with the product management team and the global developers
- Work closely with the DevOps team to continuously upgrade and improve the technology stack
Requirements For Senior Python Developer - Exchange Middle and Back office
- Strong proficiency in Python: In-depth knowledge of Python syntax, libraries, and frameworks
- Expertise in SQL: Solid understanding of relational database concepts and optimization techniques
- Must have: Python, pandas, matplotlib, plotly, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Airflow
- Preferably experience at an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund or Exchange developing trading applications
- Proficient in speaking English and experienced in collaboration with global teams
- Experience with TDD methodology and automated testing
- Strong attention to detail and responsibility
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
