Senior Software Engineer - IAM

At Databricks, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our Trust & Safety team. Founded by the creators of Apache Spark, Databricks has grown into a global organization trusted by thousands of organizations for their mission-critical workloads. As part of the Security Engineering team within Trust & Safety, you'll play a crucial role in building the most trusted data analytics and ML platform in the world.

The position requires deep expertise in security domains including authentication, identity management, and access control. You'll be responsible for identifying and addressing security gaps in our infrastructure, leading technical initiatives, and representing security engineering throughout the organization. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering work on large-scale distributed systems.

We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in Data Security and distributed systems, with a strong academic background (MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science preferred). You'll need to demonstrate both technical excellence and leadership ability, as you'll be working across organizational boundaries and representing Databricks at industry events.

The role offers competitive compensation ($165,300 - $237,800 USD) and comprehensive benefits.
