Senior Software Engineer - Privacy

As a Senior Software Engineer in Privacy, you'll join our Security Engineering team within Trust & Safety, playing a vital role in protecting customer data from bad actors. This position requires expertise in data security, distributed systems, and a strong foundation in areas like cryptography, Kubernetes security, and access control.

The role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, requiring both deep technical knowledge and the ability to influence across the organization. You'll be responsible for identifying and addressing security gaps in our infrastructure, leading initiatives to enhance our security posture, and representing Databricks at industry events.

We're looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience in both data security and large-scale distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in Computer Science or related fields, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills. You'll work on critical security initiatives that directly impact our customers' trust and safety.
