As a Software Engineer - Backend Generalist, you'll be working on critical tasks such as:

• Solving scaling bottlenecks in critical services
• Deploying new features to production, progressively rolling them out with feature flags
• Investigating and fixing production issues from services your team owns
• Designing ways to scale up services for more traffic
• Planning important projects with your team

The ideal candidate for this role:

• Has significant experience in one or more programming languages
• Values code simplicity and performance
• Can design architecture to solve problems at high scale
• Has a BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field or equivalent experience
• Wants to work in a fast, high-growth startup environment that respects its engineers and customers
