Description For Senior Site Reliability Engineer

The role is crucial in scaling their AI-powered resource management platform used by Big Four and top professional services firms globally. As part of the Site Reliability Engineering BAU team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the cloud infrastructure, implementing automation, and ensuring system reliability.

The position offers a blend of technical challenges and leadership opportunities, where you'll work with modern technologies including Azure, Python, Terraform, and various DevOps tools. You'll be instrumental in improving system observability, managing costs, and developing automated solutions to support the company's growth. The role includes participating in an on-call rotation and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities For Senior Site Reliability Engineer

  • Maintain and improve management of cloud estate in Azure
  • Improve scalability through automation and self-service tooling
  • Improve observability through reporting and tool creation
  • Drive improvements to Cost of Giving Service (COGS)
  • Diagnose and manage escalated issues
  • Carry out estate management tasks and deployments
  • Support and mentor team members
  • Participate in Out Of Hours on-call rota
  • Drive improvements to incident management processes

Requirements For Senior Site Reliability Engineer

  • Extensive experience as a site reliability engineer
  • Experience working within an established SRE team
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and application monitoring
  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipeline management
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
