Manual QA Engineer

Deel is seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join their R&D Engineering team, specifically in Payroll Engineering. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of Deel's global payroll and compliance platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Test Planning: Collaborating with development teams to create comprehensive test plans.
• Test Design and Execution: Designing and executing various types of tests, including functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Defect Management: Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaboration: Working closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Contributing to the enhancement of software development processes.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed test documentation.

Requirements:

• BSc/BA or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing.
• Experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps.
• API testing experience.
• Proficiency in exploratory-based testing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• ISTQB testing certifications.
• Competence in basic SQL.
