Description For Technical Support Engineer 2

Dell Technologies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer 2 to join their Product Services team in Bangalore. This role involves providing enterprise-level technical support for server systems, working in a fast-paced, customer-critical environment. The position requires collaboration with L2/L3 teams on both hardware and software issues, while continuously staying updated with new enterprise technologies through training programs.

As part of a 24x7 high-complexity customer-facing technical team, you'll be responsible for resolving complex technical issues related to Enterprise Servers, providing valuable feedback to the Engineering team, and maintaining high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in server architecture, operating systems (Windows/Linux/ESXi), and RAID concepts.

Requirements For Technical Support Engineer 2

Linux
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ Years of experience in Technical Support Role
  • Strong interpersonal skills and phone etiquette
  • Strong problem-solving and logical troubleshooting skills
  • Good Understanding of Motherboard Architecture, Hardware Knowledge, RAID Concept and Operating Systems
  • Certification with respect to Server (Server+/PowerEdge Associate) preferred
  • Operating System certification preferred
