Merkle, a dentsu company with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a Salesforce Developer/Engineer to join their CRM & Loyalty Team in Geneva. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with 4 days onsite and Fridays from home. The position involves developing Salesforce-based solutions, focusing on software features that meet performance, quality, and delivery standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Salesforce development experience and will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to implementation. Key responsibilities include designing scalable Salesforce solutions, customizing Sales & Service Cloud, automating workflows, and performing data modeling and integration with external systems.

Responsibilities For Salesforce Developer / Engineer

  • Participate in the entire software development cycle – requirements analysis, design and development, unit testing and documentation
  • Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, and Flows
  • Customize Sales & Service Cloud to support client-specific business processes
  • Automate workflows using both declarative and programmatic tools
  • Perform data modeling, data manipulation, and integration with external systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to exchange ideas and continuously improve
  • Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team
  • Contribute to testing and quality assurance through automated test coverage
  • Take ownership of components and support project delivery

Requirements For Salesforce Developer / Engineer

JavaScript
  • 3+ years of Salesforce development experience
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, JSON/XML, and version control (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and cloud environments (preferably Salesforce)
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and tools like Visual Studio Code
  • Agile mindset and experience across the software development lifecycle
  • Experience in Level 2 and Level 3 support on Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I or higher) are a strong advantage
