Merkle, a Dentsu company, is seeking a Salesforce Developer/Engineer to join their CRM & Loyalty Team in Geneva. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful Salesforce-based solutions in a hybrid work environment (4 days onsite, 1 day remote). The position involves developing software features that meet performance, quality, and delivery standards while working with a supportive, inclusive team that values innovation and continuous improvement.

The role requires expertise in Salesforce development, with a focus on customizing Sales & Service Cloud, implementing scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, and Flows, and integrating with external systems. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, strong technical skills in data modeling, APIs, and modern development tools, and be fluent in both English and French.

Responsibilities For Salesforce Developer / Engineer

  • Participate in software development cycle – requirements analysis, design, development, testing and documentation
  • Design and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, and Flows
  • Customize Sales & Service Cloud for client-specific business processes
  • Automate workflows using declarative and programmatic tools
  • Perform data modeling, data manipulation, and integration with external systems
  • Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge
  • Contribute to testing and quality assurance
  • Take ownership of components and support project delivery

Requirements For Salesforce Developer / Engineer

JavaScript
  • 3+ years of Salesforce development experience
  • Understanding of data modeling, JSON/XML, and version control
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and cloud environments
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Visual Studio Code
  • Agile mindset and software development lifecycle experience
  • Experience in Level 2 and Level 3 support on Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I or higher) preferred
  • Industry cloud certification is a plus
