Description For Disneyland Electrical Engineering Intern, Fall 2025

Join the Disneyland Resort's Global Engineering & Technology (GE&T) Division as an Electrical Engineering Intern for Fall 2025. This unique program is designed to develop you professionally while gaining practical experience in electrical engineering at one of the world's most renowned theme parks. You'll work on various projects including attractions, maintenance, and entertainment systems.

The role involves designing and maintaining control systems, developing innovative solutions, and participating in critical system reviews. You'll get hands-on experience with industrial automation, safety systems, and cutting-edge theme park technology. The position requires strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

As part of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts team, you'll contribute to creating magical experiences for millions of guests while building your engineering career. The internship runs from June 2025 to December 2025, offering competitive compensation ($30-35/hour based on education level) and valuable industry experience.

Responsibilities For Disneyland Electrical Engineering Intern, Fall 2025

  • Design, test, document and sustain hardware and software control systems
  • Develop solutions and analyze situations using non-linear thinking
  • Participate in project estimating, scheduling, planning, and training
  • Perform system, software, and electrical hardware design reviews
  • Provide timely communication to management and team members

Requirements For Disneyland Electrical Engineering Intern, Fall 2025

Linux
  • Strong understanding of electronic principles and computer systems
  • Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) software
  • Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and function generators
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Must possess a valid US driver's license
  • Currently enrolled as Junior, Senior or Graduate student in Electrical Engineering
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
