Description For Lead Software Engineer - Back End

Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their User Foundations team, which builds critical User Capabilities shared across streaming services including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ and Star+. This role offers an opportunity to work at the technological heart of Disney's media business, building and advancing the infrastructure that powers their global media operations.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing high-throughput services and pipelines for user information gathering and personalized experiences. The position combines technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring expertise in backend technologies, particularly JVM services.
