Senior Platform Engineer

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineering team is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their group responsible for providing core IAM ecosystem of security services, platforms, and solutions across Disney's business segments. This role will be crucial in designing, building, and maintaining IAM security solutions protecting thousands of internal applications and data for hundreds of thousands of cast members, employees, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, maintain and automate IAM security solutions within vendor-provided enterprise platforms
• Implement technical integrations in coordination with architects, team leads, and operations teams
• Define/maintain platform engineering processes including service evaluation, lab testing, and solution design
• Ensure security compliance standards and vulnerability remediation
• Evaluate new security services/functionality and craft solutions to enhance cybersecurity defense
• Collaborate with software engineering teams on custom developed solutions
• Provide on-call support and incident response

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT Enterprise Technology experience
• 3+ years providing technical leadership and mentorship
• 3+ years running Okta at scale
• Experience with IAM solutions (Okta, Active Directory, Ping, Azure AD, SailPoint)
• Identity Federation, SSO, HCM integration expertise
• Proficiency in SAML, SCIM, OAuth2, OIDC, LDAP protocols
• Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, PowerShell
• Understanding of security concerns and application security
• BS/BA in IT, Information Security, Computer Science or equivalent experience
