Description For Software Engineer II - Site Reliability Engineer

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is at the forefront of reimagining magical viewing experiences for the world's most beloved stories while transforming Disney's media business for the future. The Product & Data Engineering team is responsible for end-to-end development of Disney's world-class consumer-facing products, including streaming platforms Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.

The Hulu Discovery team builds systems that provide data at scale, implementing reliable, high-request services that deliver data powering the Hulu user experience across web, mobile, and living room devices. As a Software Engineer II in Site Reliability Engineering, you'll bridge the gap between development and operations by improving and maintaining deployment systems, observability, and testing platforms.

You'll be joining a hardworking group of engineers who build and manage systems powering Hulu & Disney+ Streaming clients running on smart TVs, smartphones, gaming consoles, FireTV, Apple TV, Roku, and others. The role involves working with infrastructure as code, CI/CD systems, observability platforms, and helping teams deploy changes safely while maintaining high reliability.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field
