Description For Product Support Quality Engineer

Distalmotion, headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, is seeking a Product Support Quality Engineer to join their Customer Experience department. This role is crucial in investigating product and customer complaints, carrying the "voice of the customers" into product development, and driving continuous improvement of products and services.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Complaint Handling:

    • Manage and improve complaint handling processes
    • Daily review of complaint database for reportability evaluation
    • Ensure timely investigation and closure of complaints
    • Lead monthly Customer Complaint Board meetings
    • Report on product complaint data for Post Market Surveillance reviews
  2. Product Support:

    • Manage return of failed products from the field
    • Lead cross-functional teams for investigation of returned products
    • Create and maintain work instructions for service, repair, and testing processes
    • Support Field Service and Product Support teams in implementing CAPA and Field Actions

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 3 to 5 years of QA experience in a medical device company
  • Degree in Engineering
  • Knowledge of medical devices Quality Management System and regulatory landscape
  • Experience in Complaint handling
  • Risk management knowledge as per ISO 14971
  • Fluency in English and French

  • Risk management knowledge as per ISO 14971
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluency in English and French
