DMV IT Service is seeking a skilled Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join our team in a hybrid work arrangement in Seattle. This role combines frontend development expertise with comprehensive testing knowledge, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of our micro frontend architecture.
The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in frontend testing or development, with a strong foundation in modern testing frameworks and methodologies. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including Playwright for E2E testing, Mock Service Worker for API mocking, and various React testing tools.
In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining automated test suites, integrating tests into our GitLab CI/CD pipeline, and ensuring the quality of our micro frontend applications. You'll work with test management tools like TestRail and be involved in configuring test jobs and managing test artifacts in our CI/CD environment.

Responsibilities For Software Developer in Test (SDET)
- Implement and maintain automated test suites
- Work with Micro Frontend architecture
- Develop end-to-end tests using Playwright
- Configure and manage test jobs in CI/CD pipeline

Requirements For Software Developer in Test (SDET)
- 3-5 years of experience in frontend testing or frontend development
- Experience with Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture
- Experience with Playwright for end-to-end (E2E) testing
- Experience with API mocking using Mock Service Worker (MSW)
- Experience integrating automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with @testing-library/react-hooks, Storybook, and visual regression testing tools
- Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail
- Experience in configuring test jobs and managing test artifacts in CI/CD environments
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must reside within 20-mile radius of Seattle, WA
