Client Platforms Engineer

DV Trading, a rapidly growing independent proprietary trading firm, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Client Platforms Engineer to join their dynamic IT support team in Chicago. Founded over 15 years ago, DV Trading has grown to more than 350 people operating throughout North America and Europe.

As a Client Platforms Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and assistance to DV Trading's end-users. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth functioning of IT services, resolve technical issues promptly, and deliver top-notch customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for all IT issues and requests
• Technical troubleshooting of hardware, software, and application problems
• Incident management and request fulfillment
• IT asset management
• Continuous improvement of technical skills and processes
• Providing exceptional customer service

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service Desk Engineer or similar role
• Solid knowledge of IT fundamentals, including operating systems, software applications, hardware, and networking concepts
• Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and incident management procedures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Willingness to work on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays
