Job Description

Ekho is revolutionizing the vehicle industry with their Tesla-like online vehicle checkout platform, which has already generated tens of millions in revenue for over 20 leading vehicle brands. Working with industry giants like Royal Enfield and innovative brands like LiveWire, Zero Motorcycles, and others, Ekho has secured $17.5M in funding from prestigious investors including YCombinator and the Tesla alumni fund.

As a Design Engineer at Ekho, you'll play a crucial role in bridging design and development, creating beautiful, responsive interfaces while maintaining excellent code quality. You'll be responsible for defining and evolving design systems, specifying new features, and ensuring elegant UI/UX across all products, both for vehicle buyers and brand/dealership users.

The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals with modern frontend development expertise, particularly in React and TypeScript. You'll work with Figma to create and maintain design systems, collaborate with backend engineers, and mentor junior team members. The role offers an opportunity to shape the future of vehicle e-commerce while working with cutting-edge technologies and maintaining high standards of design and performance.

Working from the New York City HQ, you'll be part of a well-funded startup that's transforming how vehicles are sold online. The position offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to work on meaningful projects that impact major brands in the automotive industry.
