New Grad: Software Engineer

ElectronX is a CFTC-regulated financial exchange (subject to approval) designed to enable precision risk management, volatility hedging opportunities, and the monetization of power assets for all energy market participants. As a New Grad Software Engineer, you'll be developing trading platforms, implementing real-time data processing systems, building API integrations, ensuring security and compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing troubleshooting and support, and innovating to improve the platform's capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance trading platforms
• Creating and optimizing real-time data processing systems for market data
• Developing robust APIs to integrate with external financial systems
• Implementing security best practices and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and operations teams
• Providing ongoing support for production systems
• Experimenting with new technologies to improve the platform

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of software engineering experience
• Coursework or experience in Rust, Golang, and/or Java
• Database knowledge and optimization skills
• Strong interest in financial markets, sustainability, and renewable energy
