Software Engineer

Elekta, a global leader in precision radiation therapy headquartered in Stockholm, is seeking a Software Engineer for their Veenendaal location. The position involves full-stack development in a Scrum team environment, focusing on both new development and maintenance of existing systems. You'll work on diverse projects ranging from GPU-based algorithm development to web-based MRI image visualization using Angular. The tech stack primarily includes C# and C++, with C# being the preferred language.

As a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements definition through implementation and testing. The role involves writing Specflow scenarios, participating in design reviews, and conducting risk assessments. You'll work in an agile environment, collaborating with other software engineers, system engineers, and testers.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in medical applications. Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Visual Studio and Azure DevOps, is essential. Experience with .NET frameworks, design patterns, and modern web technologies is highly valued.
