Responsibilities For Backend Software Developer (Python)
- Develop and maintain the open-source Python SDK
- Design and build backend APIs using FastAPI, Pydantic, and Poetry
- Architect secure serverless data systems on AWS or GCP
- Integrate with tools like S3, Apache Arrow, and DuckDB
- Manage authentication and security using AWS Secrets Manager, IAM, caching, and file I/O
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Requirements For Backend Software Developer (Python)
- Solid experience in Python development and REST API design
- Familiarity with libraries like Pandas, PyArrow, and databases such as DuckDB
- Production experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience implementing secure and scalable cloud solutions (AWS or GCP)
- Strong communication and ownership end-to-end
- Knowledge of WebAssembly, Pyodide, WebSockets (Nice-to-Have)
- Frontend experience with React and TypeScript (Nice-to-Have)
