Description For Lead AI Engineer (Applied Scientist)

Eudia is revolutionizing the legal industry through AI-powered Augmented Intelligence, having secured $105M in Series A funding led by General Catalyst. The company serves major clients like Cargill, Coherent, DHL, and Duracell, focusing on bringing trust, accuracy, and security to legal automation.

As a Lead AI Engineer (Applied Scientist), you'll work from the Palo Alto office, reporting directly to the Cofounder and CTO. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with Fortune 500 companies' legal and risk departments, developing enterprise-grade software using cutting-edge Generative AI. You'll be responsible for creating cloud-agnostic solutions, maintaining security standards, and building scalable platforms for enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities include deploying production-grade models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, handling complex datasets, defining success metrics, and mentoring AI Engineers. The role requires expertise in LLMs, RAGs, and machine learning frameworks, with a strong background in deploying AI/ML solutions.

The position offers competitive compensation ($200,000 - $350,000 base salary), the opportunity to work with leading experts in legal, technology, and AI, and the chance to make a significant impact in transforming the legal industry. You'll be part of a fast-moving team that ships solutions in days, not months, working alongside some of the brightest minds in AI and legal technology.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to be at the forefront of AI innovation, enjoys solving complex challenges, and wants to contribute to reshaping an industry traditionally resistant to change.
